Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced MEP Construction Engineer with a strong construction background to manage and coordinate MEP works for building projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems, particularly in residential, commercial, villa, or high-rise projects. Current Bahrain MEP roles commonly emphasize site execution, drawing coordination, subcontractor supervision, and testing/commissioning.

Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and supervise MEP construction activities on site.
Manage installation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems.
Review and interpret MEP drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
Coordinate MEP works with civil, structural, architectural, and finishing teams.
Supervise MEP subcontractors, technicians, and site workers.
Monitor manpower, materials, work progress, productivity, and installation quality.
Conduct site inspections and resolve technical and coordination issues.
Review material submittals, method statements, RFIs, and technical submissions.
Ensure MEP works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.
Coordinate testing, commissioning, snagging, rectification, and final handover.
Coordinate with consultants, clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and project management.
Prepare daily and weekly MEP progress reports.
Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and applicable Bahrain regulations.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, MEP Engineering, or a related field.
3–7 years of relevant MEP construction experience.
Strong hands-on construction experience is required.
Experience in high-rise buildings, large villas, residential, or commercial projects is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of MEP installation, coordination, testing, and commissioning.
Ability to read and interpret MEP/shop drawings and technical specifications.
Experience managing subcontractors and site teams.
Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office, BIM/Revit, or Navisworks is an advantage.
Strong communication, coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Bahrain/GCC construction experience is highly preferred.
Must be currently available in Bahrain.
Immediate joiner is highly preferred.
