Description


We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Nurse or Caregiver to provide home care for an elderly patient who has suffered a stroke.

Requirements
- Experience caring for geriatric patients, especially stroke patients
- Knowledge and experience with NG/feeding tube care
- Experience with urinary catheter care
- Able to assist with feeding, hygiene, repositioning and daily activities
- Able to monitor the patient’s general condition and recognize changes that require medical attention
- Patient, responsible, compassionate and trustworthy
- Previous home-care experience is preferred - Immediate availability is highly preferred

Main Responsibilities
- Provide attentive daily care and companionship
- Assist with feeding and tube care as required
- Maintain proper catheter hygiene and care
- Assist with bathing, changing, repositioning, and personal hygiene
- Help prevent pressure sores through appropriate repositioning and skin care
- Monitor the patient and report any concerning changes
- Follow the family’s and healthcare team’s care instructions

Preferred to be either philipino or African
