Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Building Services Engineer with a strong construction background to manage and coordinate building services and MEP works for residential, commercial, villa, and high-rise projects.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and other building services, with strong knowledge of site execution, coordination, testing, and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and supervise building services and MEP works at construction sites.
Oversee installation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and related systems.
Review and interpret MEP drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
Coordinate building services with civil, structural, architectural, and finishing works.
Supervise subcontractors, technicians, and site teams.
Conduct regular site inspections and ensure proper workmanship and quality.
Identify and resolve technical issues, clashes, and site coordination problems.
Monitor project progress, manpower, materials, and equipment.
Review material submittals, method statements, RFIs, and technical submissions.
Coordinate testing, commissioning, snagging, rectification, and handover activities.
Ensure all works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, safety requirements, and applicable Bahrain regulations.
Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and provide updates to the Project Manager.
Coordinate with consultants, clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, MEP Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related field.
3–5+ years of relevant construction experience in building services/MEP.
Strong hands-on experience in building construction projects.
Experience with villas, high-rise, residential, or commercial projects is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of MEP installation, coordination, testing, and commissioning.
Ability to read and interpret MEP/shop drawings and technical specifications.
Experience managing subcontractors and site teams.
Good knowledge of construction procedures, QA/QC, and HSE requirements.
Good communication, coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Bahrain/GCC construction experience is highly preferred.
Must be currently available in Bahrain.
Immediate joiner is preferred.
Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks, and MS Office is an advantage.
Preferred Candidate

Candidates with strong Bahrain construction experience, particularly those who have worked on high-rise buildings and large villa projects, will be given priority.
