Job Description

We are seeking an experienced MEP Project Supervisor – Construction to supervise and coordinate MEP works across building construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, drainage, and firefighting systems, with the ability to manage site teams, subcontractors, and daily MEP activities.

The role requires a strong construction background, excellent site coordination skills, and the ability to ensure MEP works are completed safely, on schedule, and according to approved drawings and specifications. These are also common requirements in current Bahrain MEP construction postings.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily MEP construction and installation activities.
Oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and related MEP works.
Manage MEP technicians, workers, subcontractors, and site teams.
Review and interpret MEP drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and layouts.
Coordinate MEP works with civil, structural, architectural, and finishing teams.
Monitor project progress, manpower, materials, equipment, and productivity.
Conduct regular site inspections and ensure proper workmanship and quality.
Identify and resolve MEP clashes, technical issues, and site coordination problems.
Ensure all works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, and schedules.
Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, snagging, and rectification works.
Coordinate with MEP Engineers, Project Managers, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
Monitor MEP material requirements and coordinate with procurement/logistics.
Prepare daily and weekly progress, manpower, and site reports.
Ensure compliance with HSE and construction safety requirements.
Support final testing, commissioning, handover, and project close-out activities.
Requirements & Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, MEP Engineering, or a related technical field.
Minimum 4–6 years of relevant MEP construction supervision experience.
Strong building construction experience is a MUST.
Bahrain construction experience is highly preferred / may be required depending on project needs.
Experience with villa, residential, commercial, or high-rise projects is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems.
Ability to read and understand MEP drawings and shop drawings.
Proven experience supervising subcontractors and site teams.
Good knowledge of construction procedures, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office is an advantage.
Must be currently available in Bahrain.
Immediate joiners are strongly preferred.
Candidates with cancelled/transferable visa or valid local status are preferred.
Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a hands-on, construction-focused MEP Project Supervisor, rather than a candidate whose experience is primarily in maintenance or facilities management. The successful candidate should be comfortable managing active construction sites, coordinating multiple MEP trades, supervising subcontractors, and resolving day-to-day site issues.
