Job Description

We are looking for an experienced MEP Construction Engineer to manage and coordinate MEP works for building construction projects. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems, with experience in villas, high-rise, residential, or commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and supervise MEP construction activities on site.
Manage the installation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems.
Review MEP drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
Coordinate MEP works with civil, structural, architectural, and finishing teams.
Supervise subcontractors, technicians, and site teams.
Monitor project progress, manpower, materials, and work quality.
Conduct site inspections and resolve technical or coordination issues.
Review material submittals, method statements, RFIs, and technical submissions.
Coordinate testing, commissioning, snagging, and handover of MEP systems.
Ensure works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, safety standards, and Bahrain regulations.
Prepare MEP progress reports and provide regular updates to the Project Manager.
Coordinate with consultants, clients, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, MEP Engineering, or related field.
3–5+ years of relevant MEP construction experience.
Strong building construction experience is required.
Experience with villas, high-rise, residential, or commercial projects is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of MEP installation, testing, and commissioning.
Ability to read and interpret MEP/shop drawings.
Experience managing subcontractors and site teams.
Good knowledge of construction procedures, quality control, and HSE requirements.
AutoCAD and MS Office knowledge is an advantage.
Bahrain/GCC construction experience is highly preferred.
Must be currently available in Bahrain.
Immediate joiner is highly preferred.
