Job Description

We are looking for an organized and experienced Construction Procurement Coordinator to support procurement and purchasing activities for construction projects. The successful candidate will coordinate with suppliers, site teams, project management, stores, accounts, and subcontractors to ensure materials are sourced at competitive prices and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities
Coordinate the complete procurement process from purchase requisition to delivery.
Source construction materials, MEP materials, tools, equipment, and consumables.
Request and evaluate supplier quotations and prepare comparison sheets.
Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial conditions.
Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs), RFQs, and procurement documents.
Follow up with suppliers regarding pending orders and delivery schedules.
Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, storekeepers, accounts, and suppliers.
Verify delivered materials against POs, specifications, quantities, and delivery documents.
Maintain supplier databases, purchase registers, quotation records, and procurement reports.
Monitor material requirements, stock levels, and upcoming project requirements.
Coordinate material replacements, returns, and issues with suppliers.
Assist with invoice verification and reconciliation with Accounts.
Maintain accurate procurement records using MS Excel and procurement systems.
Requirements
2–4 years of experience in procurement/purchasing, preferably within the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of construction materials and local suppliers.
Experience in quotation comparison, supplier negotiation, POs, delivery follow-up, and procurement documentation.
Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and email.
Strong communication, coordination, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
Ability to manage multiple suppliers, purchase orders, and deliveries simultaneously.
Bahrain/GCC construction experience is highly preferred.
Must be currently available in Bahrain.
Immediate joiner is highly preferred.
Preferred Candidate

Candidates with hands-on construction procurement experience and knowledge of Bahrain's construction supplier market will be given priority.
