A leading construction company in the Kingdom of Bahrain is seeking a locally available, qualified, and experienced MEP Engineer to join its team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee the planning and execution of MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection, for high-rise buildings and large villa projects.
• Manage MEP activities throughout the project lifecycle, from design and installation to testing and commissioning, ensuring compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
• Review MEP designs, shop drawings, material submittals, and technical queries to ensure proper coordination and compliance.
• Carry out site inspections, identify technical concerns, and coordinate appropriate solutions during construction.
• Coordinate closely with architects, structural engineers, project managers, clients, and other relevant teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Supervise and coordinate MEP subcontractors, engineers, and technicians to achieve timely and quality completion of works.
• Ensure all MEP works are carried out in accordance with Bahraini building codes, safety requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules, and prepare regular MEP progress reports.
• Ensure effective coordination between MEP services and other ongoing construction activities.

Qualification & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar MEP Engineering role.
• Proven experience working on high-rise buildings and large villa projects.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Good understanding of MEP design, construction standards, and relevant codes.
• Strong coordination, problem-solving, and team management abilities.
• Good English communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple MEP activities while coordinating effectively with project teams and subcontractors.
