Description

A leading construction company in the Kingdom of Bahrain is seeking a locally available qualified and experienced MEP Engineer to join its team.

Job Description:
• Lead the planning and execution of MEP systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection for high-rise buildings and large villa projects.
• Manage MEP works from design and installation through testing and commissioning, ensuring compliance with project requirements and quality standards.
• Review MEP designs, shop drawings, material submittals, and technical queries.
• Conduct site inspections, identify technical issues, and coordinate effective solutions during construction.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, project managers, clients, and other teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Manage and coordinate MEP subcontractors, engineers, and technicians to ensure timely and quality completion of works.
• Ensure MEP works comply with Bahraini building codes, safety standards, and relevant regulations.
• Monitor MEP project progress, budgets, schedules, and prepare regular progress reports.
• Ensure proper coordination between MEP services and other construction activities.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–7 years of experience in a similar MEP role.
• Proven experience in high-rise buildings and large villa projects.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Good knowledge of MEP design, construction standards, and relevant codes.
• Strong coordination, problem-solving, and team management skills.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Ability to manage multiple MEP activities and coordinate effectively with project teams and subcontractors.
