Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Registered Nurse role based in Manama. The Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, performing assessments, and supporting activities of daily living. The role involves developing and updating care plans, educating patients and families on treatment and self-care, and coordinating with physicians and allied health professionals to ensure integrated care. The nurse will document all care activities accurately, maintain infection control and safety practices, and respond promptly to changes in patient condition. Additional responsibilities include participating in quality improvement initiatives and supporting junior staff or caregivers with guidance and training.

Qualifications

Current, valid Registered Nurse license recognized in Bahrain, with eligibility to practice in Manama.
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
Proven experience in home health, community nursing, or general clinical nursing care.
Strong patient assessment, care planning, and clinical decision-making skills.
Ability to administer medications safely and perform nursing procedures in accordance with clinical protocols.
Effective communication skills to interact with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams in a respectful, culturally sensitive manner.
Good documentation and computer literacy skills to manage electronic or paper health records accurately.
Capacity to work independently, manage time well, and prioritize multiple patients and tasks.
Commitment to infection control, patient safety, and professional ethical standards.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed.
CPR/BLS certification and familiarity with emergency response procedures.
Experience with chronic disease management, elder care, or palliative care is an advantage.
