Description

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant for our client to join the finance team in Bahrain. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, reconciliations, financial reporting, month-end closing, and supporting various finance and accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting and finance operations.
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Perform bank, supplier, customer, intercompany, and general ledger reconciliations.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
Monitor receivables, payables, cash flows, and working capital.
Prepare management reports, financial analysis, and MIS reports.
Support external and internal audits and provide required schedules and documentation.
Support VAT-related accounting and reporting activities where required.

Required Skills & Experience

3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
Strong experience in financial accounting and preparation of financial statements.
Experience in preparing management accounts and financial reports.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
