Job Description

We are looking for an experienced MEP Project Engineer to oversee and manage MEP works for high-rise buildings, large villa projects, and other large-scale construction projects. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of MEP systems and proven experience managing site execution, subcontractors, and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

• Proven experience in managing MEP aspects of high-rise buildings and large villa projects.

• In-depth knowledge of MEP systems design, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance best practices.

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection, for large-scale commercial and residential construction projects.

• Manage and coordinate MEP engineers, supervisors, technicians, and site teams to ensure high performance and timely project delivery.

• Develop and review detailed MEP designs, specifications, material requirements, and cost estimates in accordance with project requirements and applicable standards.

• Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

• Conduct regular site inspections, identify technical issues, and implement effective solutions throughout the construction phase.

• Coordinate closely with architects, structural engineers, project managers, consultants, and clients to ensure proper integration of MEP systems with other disciplines.

• Manage and coordinate MEP subcontractors, ensuring their work is completed safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards.

• Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, inspection requests, and technical queries.

• Monitor project progress and ensure MEP works are executed according to approved project schedules and milestones.

• Ensure all MEP works comply with Bahraini building codes, safety requirements, authority regulations, and environmental standards.

• Prepare regular MEP progress reports, track project requirements, and assist in managing MEP budgets and schedules.

• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors regarding materials, technical requirements, delivery schedules, and site requirements.

• Attend technical and coordination meetings and provide solutions to MEP-related site and design issues.

Candidate Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related MEP discipline.

• Proven experience in MEP project engineering within the construction industry.

• Experience with high-rise buildings, large villas, commercial buildings, or major residential projects is highly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of MEP construction practices, drawings, specifications, and site coordination.

• Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills.

• Immediate joiners are preferred.

• Candidates must be currently available in Bahrain.
