A reputed trading company with multiple retail shops and branches across Bahrain is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join its finance team.
πŸ’Ό Position: Senior Accountant
πŸ“ Location: Bahrain
πŸ’° Salary: BD 300 – 350 per month
πŸ‘€ Age: 30–40 years
πŸ“Š Reporting To: Managing Director & General Manager
βœ… Candidate Requirements
β€’ Minimum 8 years of overall accounting experience
β€’ Minimum 5 years of GCC experience
β€’ 3 years of Bahrain experience preferred
β€’ Strong knowledge of Bahrain VAT
β€’ Experience in Audit Coordination
β€’ Good knowledge of MIS Reporting
β€’ Experience handling accounts for multiple branches / retail outlets preferred
β€’ Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
β€’ Good command of MS Excel and accounting software
β€’ Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
πŸ“Œ Key Responsibilities
β€’ Manage day-to-day accounting operations for multiple retail branches
β€’ Prepare monthly financial statements and MIS reports
β€’ Monitor branch sales, expenses, cash and bank transactions
β€’ Handle Bahrain VAT accounting and compliance
β€’ Coordinate with external auditors and provide required schedules/documents
β€’ Perform bank, cash, supplier and customer reconciliations
β€’ Monitor branch-wise accounting and financial performance
β€’ Assist management with financial analysis and decision-making
β€’ Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing

An experienced accountant who can independently manage accounting operations for a multi-branch retail trading business and provide accurate financial information directly to the Managing Director and General Manager.
