Car Mechanic / Automotive Technician – Private Luxury & Exotic Vehicle Fleet

Position Summary
A reputable company in the Kingdom of Bahrain is seeking a highly skilled and dependable Car Mechanic /
Automotive Technician to take responsibility for the inspection, maintenance, repair, and technical
coordination of a private fleet of vehicles, including luxury, exotic, classic, and high-performance cars. The
successful candidate must demonstrate exceptional technical knowledge, attention to detail, discretion, and a
strong commitment to maintaining every vehicle to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform preventive and routine maintenance, inspections, servicing, and repairs across the private vehicle
fleet.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, electronic, and performance-related faults accurately using professional
diagnostic equipment.
• Provide specialist care for luxury, exotic, classic, and high-performance vehicles in accordance with
manufacturer standards.
• Conduct regular vehicle condition checks and identify potential faults before they develop into major issues.
• Ensure all vehicles remain safe, reliable, roadworthy, clean, and ready for use at all times.
• Maintain accurate service histories, repair records, maintenance schedules, mileage records, and technical
reports for each vehicle.
• Plan and track upcoming servicing, inspections, registration-related technical requirements, tyres, batteries,
fluids, and other scheduled items.
• Coordinate maintenance, warranty work, recalls, specialist repairs, and parts requirements with authorized
dealerships, agents, and approved workshops.
• Inspect and verify work completed by external workshops or dealerships before accepting the vehicle back
into the fleet.
• Source or recommend appropriate genuine parts, consumables, accessories, and technical solutions when
required.
• Advise management on vehicle condition, repair priorities, technical requirements, upgrades, enhancements,
and long-term maintenance needs.
• Handle all vehicles carefully and professionally, maintaining strict confidentiality and discretion regarding the
private fleet and its owners.
Qualifications & Experience
• Proven professional experience as an automotive mechanic, technician, or diagnostic specialist.
• Strong preference for candidates with hands-on experience working with luxury, exotic, supercar, classic, or
high-performance vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of modern vehicle mechanical systems, electrical systems, electronics, advanced
diagnostics, and high-performance engines.
• Experience with premium European and/or specialist automotive brands is highly desirable.
• Ability to read diagnostic data, identify complex faults, and determine the correct repair approach.
• Strong understanding of preventive maintenance and manufacturer-recommended service procedures.
• Relevant automotive technical qualification, diploma, or certification is preferred.
• Valid driving licence is strongly preferred.

Preferred Profile
• A technically strong automotive professional who takes personal ownership of vehicle condition and
maintenance.
• Previous responsibility for a private collection, executive fleet, luxury dealership, specialist workshop, or
supercar facility would be a significant advantage.
• Candidates currently based in Bahrain or with GCC experience may be preferred.
