Senior Technician / Team Leader

AMGARD – Ameeri Industries W.L.L. is looking for a skilled Senior Technician / Team Leader to lead the maintenance team and independently troubleshoot complex industrial machinery breakdowns while ensuring minimum downtime and safe equipment operation.

Key Responsibilities

* Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults.
* Handle major machinery breakdowns with minimum downtime.
* Lead and guide the maintenance team during repairs and maintenance.
* Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
* Identify root causes of recurring equipment failures.
* Coordinate with Production for urgent breakdowns.
* Maintain maintenance and breakdown records.
* Respond to emergency breakdowns outside regular hours when required.

Minimum Requirements

* Minimum 5 years’ industrial/factory maintenance experience.
* Strong hands-on expertise in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
* Ability to independently resolve complex machinery breakdowns.
* Practical knowledge of motors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, sensors, and control panels.
* Technical Diploma / ITI or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Maintenance.
* Team leadership/supervisory experience preferred.
* Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
* Physically fit to work at heights and in demanding factory environments.
