## Job Summary

The Building Material Sales Executive & Delivery Specialist manages the field sales cycle and the physical delivery of construction supplies to job sites, hardware stores, and contractors. This role requires an individual who can comfortably pitch bulk product catalog items (e.g., cement, steel, timber, tiles, or tools) and safely operate commercial vehicles to ensure material drop-offs are accurate and timely.

## Key Responsibilities## 1. B2B Sales & Account Growth

* Visit construction sites, contractors, and retail hardware stores to pitch building material products.
* Generate quotes and close deals for bulk orders of cement, aggregates, plumbing, electrical, or structural materials.
* Introduce new product lines and cross-sell premium material brands to increase average order values.
* Achieve daily and monthly sales volume targets within the designated territory.

## 2. Heavy Delivery & Site Logistics

* Operate commercial delivery vehicles (flatbeds, heavy vans, or light trucks) safely to varied job sites.
* Plan optimal driving routes taking into account heavy vehicle road restrictions and site delivery windows.
* Supervise or physically execute the loading and unloading of heavy, bulky construction materials.
* Navigate difficult terrain on active, unpaved construction sites to safely drop off materials exactly where needed.

## 3. Account Management & Customer Service

* Build strong professional networks with project managers, site foremen, and procurement officers.
* Coordinate material delivery schedules to perfectly match the active construction timelines of clients.
* Inspect delivered materials on-site with the client to verify quality, quantities, and structural integrity.

## 4. Payment Collection & Inventory Tracking

* Collect payments, deposits, or signed delivery notes (DO) upon material drop-off.
* Reconcile physical vehicle stock with the morning warehouse manifest and end-of-day sales logs.
* Report market trends, competitor pricing shifts, and high-demand materials back to management.

## Job Requirements & Specifications

* Experience: Minimum 1–2 years in building materials sales, hardware retail, construction logistics, or industrial supply distribution.
* Licensing: Valid heavy or commercial driving license (matching vehicle class) with a clean driving record.
* Product Knowledge: Solid fundamental understanding of building materials, hardware specifications, and basic construction terminology.
* Physical Capability: Capability to lift, carry, and move heavy items (such as cement bags, timber beams, or tools) repeatedly.
* Tech Literacy: Comfort using GPS tracking apps, digital invoice scanners, and field CRM software.
