Description

Anwar Al Iraq Restaurant is seeking a versatile, highly skilled Shawarma & Pastry Maker who possesses strong hands-on expertise in both traditional Middle Eastern shawarma preparation and bakery/pastry crafting.


Shawarma Station:

Prepare, season, and marinate chicken and meat according to authentic house recipes.

Expertly stack, shape, and balance meat spit cones for uniform roasting.

Operate and monitor shawarma grills, ensuring precise cooking, carving, and efficient sandwich/platter assembly during peak service hours.

Maintain high standards of station hygiene, portion control, and food safety.

Pastry & Bakery Station:

Prepare, knead, shape, and bake traditional Middle Eastern pastries, flatbreads, fatayer, and baked items.

Prepare high-quality doughs, syrups, and savory/sweet fillings following standard recipes.

Monitor baking ovens and proofing timing to consistently deliver fresh, high-quality products.

Track daily ingredient usage and minimize kitchen waste across both stations.


Proven Dual Experience: Practical hands-on experience working as both a Shawarma Maker and a Pastry Maker in commercial Arabic or Middle Eastern kitchens.

Strong knowledge of meat preparation/marination as well as dough dynamics and oven operation.

Ability to switch efficiently between kitchen stations based on daily operational demand.

High speed, cleanliness, and consistency under high-volume pressure.

Knowledge of local Bahraini food safety and hygiene regulations.
