Joinery Supervisor / Foreman

We are seeking an experienced Joinery Supervisor / Foreman to oversee our joinery production and installation activities. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive technical knowledge of woodworking and joinery, and a proven ability to manage teams while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily joinery workshop and site installation activities.
Plan, schedule, and monitor production to ensure timely project completion.
Allocate work to carpenters, machine operators, and helpers based on project priorities.
Interpret technical drawings, shop drawings, and specifications accurately.
Ensure all joinery products are manufactured and installed according to approved drawings and quality standards.
Monitor workmanship and conduct regular quality inspections throughout production and installation.
Coordinate with Project Managers, Production Managers, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow.
Ensure the availability of materials, hardware, tools, and equipment before commencing work.
Identify and resolve production or installation issues promptly to avoid project delays.

Requirements: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Joinery Supervisor/Foreman in a wood manufacturing or carpentry company.
Strong knowledge of custom joinery, furniture, doors, cabinets, wardrobes, and interior fit-out works.
Ability to read and interpret technical and shop drawings.
Excellent leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and organizational abilities.
Knowledge of woodworking machinery, production processes, and installation techniques.
Familiarity with workplace health and safety regulations.
Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
