Job Title: Mason

Job Summary:
A Mason is responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining walls, floors, foundations, and other structures using bricks, concrete blocks, stones, and similar materials. They ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and according to project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Lay bricks, concrete blocks, and stones according to drawings and specifications.
Mix and apply mortar, cement, and grout.
Construct walls, partitions, foundations, and other masonry structures.
Repair and restore damaged masonry work.
Measure and cut materials to the required dimensions.
Maintain alignment, level, and structural integrity of masonry work.
Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE.
Keep work areas clean and organized.
Coordinate with supervisors and other construction workers.

Requirements:

Experience as a mason in construction projects.
Knowledge of masonry tools and materials.
Ability to read basic construction drawings.
Good physical fitness and stamina.

Job Title: Steel Fixer (Rebar Worker)

Job Summary:
A Steel Fixer is responsible for cutting, bending, placing, and securing reinforcing steel bars (rebar) and mesh used in concrete structures. They ensure reinforcement is installed according to engineering drawings and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules.
Cut, bend, and tie reinforcing steel bars and mesh.
Position and secure reinforcement in foundations, columns, beams, slabs, and walls.
Install spacers, chairs, and supports to maintain specified concrete cover.
Inspect reinforcement before concrete placement.
Use hand and power tools safely.
Follow site safety regulations and quality standards.
Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and concrete crews.
Maintain tools and keep the work area clean.

Requirements:

Experience in steel fixing/rebar installation.
Ability to read reinforcement drawings and schedules.
Knowledge of reinforcement tying techniques and construction methods.
