Description

A certificate or diploma in beauty therapy, cosmetology, or a related field (preferred by most employers).
Experience in beauty services such as:
Facials
Waxing
Threading
Makeup
Manicure and pedicure
Hair care and styling (depending on the salon)
Good communication and customer service skills.
Knowledge of beauty products, skincare, and hygiene standards.
Professional appearance and a friendly attitude.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if required.

If you are applying to work as a beautician in Bahrain, employers and authorities may also require:

Academic or professional beauty certificates.
A valid pre-employment medical fitness certificate.
Identity documents and other employment-related paperwork. The Ministry of Health also provides a process for approving qualifications for salon workers.
