# Job Title: Legal Executive / Legal Officer

## Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Legal Executive to manage the company's legal documentation, corporate records, regulatory compliance, and notarial requirements. The ideal candidate will ensure that the company's legal affairs are handled efficiently while supporting business operations through accurate documentation, contract management, and liaison with government authorities, regulatory bodies, and notary services.

## Key Responsibilities

* Maintain and manage all company legal records, statutory documents, licenses, and corporate filings.
* Draft, review, and vet contracts, agreements, memoranda, notices, and other legal documents.
* Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and corporate governance requirements.
* Coordinate company registrations, amendments, renewals, and other corporate legal matters.
* Handle document notarization, attestation, legalization, and coordination with notaries, government authorities, embassies, and regulatory agencies.
* Maintain records of powers of attorney, board resolutions, shareholder resolutions, and other corporate documents.
* Monitor legal deadlines, license renewals, and statutory filing requirements.
* Support management with legal advice related to business operations and commercial transactions.
* Liaise with external legal counsel on litigation, disputes, and specialized legal matters when required.
* Conduct legal research and provide updates on changes in laws and regulations affecting the business.
* Review and ensure legal compliance in procurement, vendor agreements, customer contracts, and partnership arrangements.
* Assist with risk management by identifying legal risks and recommending appropriate mitigation measures.
* Maintain confidentiality of all legal and corporate information.

## Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.B.) or equivalent qualification.
* Professional legal certification or bar membership is preferred.
* Certification or practical experience in notarial procedures and document attestation is an advantage.

## Experience

* 3–7 years of experience in corporate legal affairs, commercial law, or legal compliance.
* Experience handling company secretarial matters, regulatory filings, and corporate documentation.
* Hands-on experience with document notarization, legalization, and coordination with government authorities.

## Required Skills

* Strong knowledge of corporate, commercial, and contract law.
* Excellent drafting, negotiation, and legal research skills.
* Familiarity with corporate governance and regulatory compliance requirements.
* Strong organizational and document management skills.
* Ability to manage multiple legal matters simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal document management systems.

## Preferred Attributes

* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Experience supporting multi-business or group company operations.
* Knowledge of cross-border documentation, legalization, and international business transactions is an added advantage.
