Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Nutrition Chef to prepare healthy, balanced, and high-quality meals in accordance with nutritional guidelines and dietary requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for menu planning, calorie calculation support, food preparation, and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare and cook nutritious meals according to approved recipes and meal plans.
* Ensure meals meet specified calorie, macronutrient, and dietary requirements.
* Collaborate with dietitians and nutrition professionals in developing healthy menus.
* Monitor portion sizes and food presentation to ensure consistency.
* Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety.
* Manage food inventory and minimize waste.
* Ensure compliance with local food safety regulations and company policies.
* Assist in developing new healthy recipes and menu items.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.

Requirements

* Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts, Professional Cookery, or a related field.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in healthy meal preparation, meal-prep services, fitness catering, or a similar role.
* Knowledge of nutrition principles, calorie counting, and portion control.
* Understanding of special diets such as weight-loss, high-protein, low-carb, diabetic, and sports nutrition plans.
* Strong organizational and time-management skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working with dietitians, nutritionists, or fitness meal-prep companies.
* Certification in Food Safety and Hygiene.
* Experience using nutrition analysis software.
