Mechanical Technician

Position Title: Mechanical Technician
Department: Workshop / Service
Reports To: Workshop Supervisor / Service Manager

Job Summary:

The Mechanical Technician is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles or mechanical equipment to ensure proper performance and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose mechanical issues using tools and diagnostic equipment

Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on engines, brakes, suspension, and other mechanical systems

Conduct routine inspections and servicing

Replace faulty parts and components

Follow safety procedures and company standards

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workshop

Prepare service reports and job cards

Assist team members when required

Skills & Qualifications:

Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical / Automotive Technology

Knowledge of vehicle mechanical systems and repair procedures

Ability to use diagnostic tools and workshop equipment

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Good teamwork and communication skills

Preferred Nationality: Filipino

Experience:

2–4 years of experience in automotive or mechanical repair is an advantage.

Work Environment:

Workshop / Garage setting, may involve standing for long hours and handling tools and machinery.
