# EXECUTIVE CHEF

### Luxury Restaurant & Lounge Project Bahrain

A luxury restaurant and lounge concept is currently under development in Bahrain and is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join the project during its development phase and lead all culinary operations from concept creation to successful launch.

This is a unique opportunity for a passionate culinary professional to become part of an ambitious hospitality project focused on delivering exceptional food, premium service, and memorable guest experiences.

## About the Role

The Executive Chef will be responsible for establishing and leading the culinary department, creating operational systems, building the kitchen team, maintaining food quality standards, and ensuring efficient day-to-day operations.

The project already has a strong culinary vision and several signature recipes and product concepts. Therefore, we are looking for a chef who can work closely with ownership, execute ideas at the highest professional standards, and help transform concepts into consistent, scalable, and commercially successful menu items.

## Key Responsibilities

* Lead all culinary operations during the pre-opening and opening phases.
* Develop kitchen systems, SOPs, and operational procedures.
* Standardize recipes and create detailed recipe cards.
* Recruit, train, and manage the entire kitchen brigade.
* Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, consistency, and hygiene.
* Oversee food costing, purchasing, inventory management, and supplier relations.
* Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation standards.
* Assist in menu development while preserving the identity and vision of the concept.
* Collaborate directly with ownership on product development and menu execution.
* Improve operational efficiency and profitability without compromising quality.

## Qualifications

* Minimum 8 years of professional culinary experience.
* Previous experience as Executive Chef, Head Chef, or Senior Sous Chef.
* Proven experience in upscale restaurants, luxury hospitality venues, or successful restaurant openings.
* Strong knowledge of food costing, menu engineering, and kitchen operations.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
* Experience in Mediterranean, Levantine, international, seafood, and grill-focused cuisine is highly desirable.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-standard environment.
* Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
