Description

A Lift Assistant (also called an Elevator Assistant/Lift Operator in some places) helps passengers use elevators safely and efficiently, especially in hospitals, hotels, malls, and office buildings.
Job Description – Lift Assistant
Salary - 130 to 200 BD
Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor elevators/lifts.
Assist passengers entering and exiting the lift.
Give priority to elderly people, patients, disabled persons, and visitors when required.
Ensure the lift is not overloaded.
Report any lift malfunction or safety issue to maintenance staff.
Keep the lift area clean and orderly.
Follow safety and emergency procedures.
Provide basic customer service and directions to visitors.
Requirements:
Basic education (high school or equivalent is often preferred).
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to stand for long periods.
Polite and professional behavior.
Knowledge of safety procedures is an advantage.
