Experience Required
Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a reputable restaurant or hotel.
Strong knowledge of Indian, Chinese, and Continental food preparation and presentation.
Experience in handling high-volume kitchen operations is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a wide range of Indian, Chinese, and Continental dishes according to established recipes and quality standards.
Develop and introduce new menu items and seasonal specialties.
Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of all dishes.
Maintain food hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards at all times.
Monitor food stock levels and assist in inventory management.
Minimize food wastage and ensure efficient use of kitchen resources.
Supervise and coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
Ensure compliance with restaurant policies and Bahrain food safety regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
Handle customer dietary requirements and special requests when necessary.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of relevant culinary experience.
Expertise in Indian, Chinese, and Continental cuisine.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
Knowledge of food costing, portion control, and kitchen management will be an advantage.
Professional culinary qualification/certification is preferred.
