Description

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Payment Processing & Reporting: Accurately handle cash, cards, and digital payments, manage the cash drawer, and reconcile transactions.
Customer Service & Order Taking: Greet customers, take and process orders in the POS system (e.g., Micros), handle takeout, and manage customer inquiries or complaints.
Operational Support: Maintain a clean and organized cashier area, keep records of sales, and assist with service, especially during peak hours.
Menu & Promotion Knowledge: Understand all food and beverage services, daily specials, and special promotions to make recommendations and increase sales
Inventory & Security: Monitor and report any cash discrepancies, and assist in maintaining the security of the cash fund

Requirements and Skills in Bahrain:

Experience: Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar customer service role, particularly within a restaurant in Bahrain.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in using POS systems, such as Micros or RIST POS, to handle orders and check out tables.
Languages: Good communication skills in both English (primary) and Arabic (working level), which is essential for serving customers in Bahrain.
Professionalism: High attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work under pressure.
