Description

We are currently seeking qualified and experienced candidates to fill the following position within our organization:

1. HV Technician - Key Responsibilities

* Install, maintain, and repair high-voltage electrical equipment such as transformers,
switchgear, circuit breakers, and protection systems.
* Perform testing and commissioning of HV equipment including insulation resistance,
continuity, and protection relay testing.
* Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of HV substations and transmission
systems.
* Monitor and maintain HV cables, busbars, and electrical panels.
* Assist in switching operations and isolation procedures in HV networks.
* Identify electrical faults and perform troubleshooting in high-voltage systems.
* Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures and lock-out/tag-out systems.
* Read and interpret electrical drawings, single line diagrams, and technical manuals.
* Coordinate with engineers and maintenance teams during installation and maintenance work.

2. MV Cable Jointer - Key Responsibilities

* Install, joint, and terminate MV power cables (XLPE, PILC, EPR, etc.) according to technical
standards and procedures.
* Perform straight-through joints, transition joints, and cable terminations for medium-voltage
systems.
* Read and interpret electrical drawings, cable route layouts, and schematics.
* Conduct insulation resistance testing and other electrical tests before energizing cables.
* Ensure proper preparation of cable insulation, screens, and armoring during jointing work.
* Follow safety procedures while working on energized or de-energized MV networks.
* Use specialized jointing kits from manufacturers such as 3M, Raychem, and Nexans.
* Identify cable faults and assist in repair and restoration of MV power supply.
* Maintain tools, jointing equipment, and work documentation.
* Coordinate with electrical engineers, supervisors, and maintenance teams during cable
installation and repair.

3. Wireman - Key Responsibilities

* Install and maintain electrical wiring, lighting systems, power outlets, and control panels.
* Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and layouts.
* Pull cables and wires through conduits, cable trays, and ducts.
* Connect electrical components such as switches, circuit breakers, sockets, and distribution
boards.
* Assist electricians and engineers during installation and maintenance work.
* Perform basic electrical testing and troubleshooting of wiring faults.
* Ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards and regulations.
* Use electrical tools such as wire strippers, multimeters, crimping tools, and insulation testers.
* Carry out preventive maintenance of electrical systems.
* Maintain cleanliness and safety at the worksite.

Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience.
Candidate must have valid License corresponding to the job category.
