About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant with exceptional English communication skills to manage the financial operations of multiple companies. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in TallyPrime, possess strong analytical skills, and demonstrate a proven ability to handle complex, multi-entity accounting processes with accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain accounts for multiple companies, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies.
Perform daily accounting entries, including sales, purchases, payments, receipts, and adjustments.
Conduct regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Handle inventory accounting, including valuation and reconciliation.
Record and manage foreign currency transactions, including calculating and posting exchange gains and losses.
Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns in compliance with Bahrain VAT regulations.
Support and coordinate yearly external audits, ensuring all required documentation and schedules are ready.
Develop and maintain company budgets, track variances, and provide detailed costing analysis.
Generate accurate and timely financial reports for management review.
Ensure all financial records are accurate, organised, and securely maintained.
Manage and support operational activities, including coordination of deliveries, supplier follow-ups, and inventory control to ensure smooth and efficient business operations.
Manage end-to-end procurement and supply chain activities, including vendor coordination, purchase order processing, and delivery follow-ups.
Evaluate supplier quotations and select vendors based on cost, quality, and lead time to ensure optimal sourcing decisions.
Issue, track, and monitor purchase orders while coordinating with suppliers and internal departments.
Oversee import/export documentation and ensure compliance with SCE, customs, and other regulatory requirements.
Monitor shipments and maintain communication with suppliers and customers to ensure timely delivery and smooth operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA) are preferred.
Proven experience in accounting for multiple companies, preferably within a group structure.
3–5 years of accounting experience in Bahrain.
Proficiency in TallyPrime is mandatory.
Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
Strong knowledge of inventory management and valuation principles.
In-depth understanding of foreign currency transaction handling.
Experience with VAT filing and audit preparation.
Strong budgeting, forecasting, and costing skills.
Knowledge and hands-on experience in procurement, operations, and supply chain processes, including delivery coordination and inventory management.
High attention to detail, accuracy, and strong problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accuracy and accountability.
