Description

We’re seeking a Web Developer with hands-on experience building and maintaining websites using WordPress and PHP. You will help design, develop, and improve web pages and features, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver reliable, high-performing web solutions.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain websites and features using WordPress and PHP
• Customize WordPress themes and plugins (including building custom functionality)
• Write clean, reusable code and implement best practices for performance and security
• Troubleshoot and debug site issues (front-end and back-end)
• Integrate third-party services/APIs as needed (forms, analytics, integrations, etc.)
• Optimize website speed, SEO basics, and overall user experience
• Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
• Maintain documentation for developed solutions and updates
• Collaborate with designers/content teams to implement updates accurately

Required Qualifications
• Proven experience with Web Development.
• Solid PHP experience (server-side development, custom endpoints, integrations)
• Experience with WordPress theme and plugin customization
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Understanding of REST APIs and common integration patterns
• Experience with debugging tools and code review practices
• Knowledge of security best practices (input validation, sanitization, permissions)

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with MySQL and database-driven features
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows
• Experience with performance tools (e.g., page optimization, caching, CDNs)
• Knowledge of SEO and accessibility best practices
