Description

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing end-to-end accounting operations, financial reporting, and audit coordination.

Key roles & responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements and MIS reports.
• Lead and coordinate external statutory audits from planning to finalization.
• Act as the main point of contact for auditors and ensure the timely completion of audit requirements.
• Prepare audit schedules, working papers, and supporting documentation.
• Ensure resolution of audit queries and implementation of audit recommendations.
• IFRS, company policies, and Bahrain regulatory requirements.
• Monitor accounts receivable/payable and follow up on collections.
• Perform bank reconciliations and cash flow management.
• Handle inventory accounting, stock valuation, and cost control.
• Analyze margins, pricing, and profitability across product lines.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards IFRS, company policies, tax filing and Bahrain regulatory requirements.
• Strengthen internal controls and improve accounting processes and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for management.
• Prepare management accounts and financial performance analysis.
• Maintain proper documentation and audit trail for all transactions
• Assist in the preparation of Budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.


Qualification & Skills Required

• CA qualified candidates are preferred.
• Strong hand on experience in accounting/finance.
• Two years of expertise in Accounting and audit roles.
• Deep knowledge of IFRS & Bahrain VAT regulations.
• Strong ERP knowledge.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• High attention to detail and professional integrity.
