Description

Mashfa Medical Center is expanding its Diabetes and Endocrinology department to include a dedicated Diabetic Foot and Wound Care Clinic. We are looking for an experienced and motivated nurse to join our team and deliver high-quality wound care services under the direct supervision of our Consultant Diabetologist and Medical Director.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a new specialty clinic from the ground up. You will receive structured hands-on training and mentorship from an experienced wound care specialist, with the chance to develop your skills in a growing field with high demand in Bahrain and the wider Gulf region.
What you will do:
You will perform comprehensive diabetic foot assessments, carry out wound care procedures including wound bed preparation, conservative sharp debridement, and advanced dressing application. You will assist with vascular assessment using handheld Doppler and perform peripheral neuropathy screening using monofilament testing. You will be responsible for selecting appropriate wound care products — foam dressings, hydrogels, alginates, compression bandaging, and offloading devices — based on individual patient needs. Patient education on foot care, wound prevention, and self-management will be a core part of your role. You will also manage the wound care consumable inventory and maintain detailed clinical records.
