Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Server Support Specialist to manage, maintain, and support server infrastructure and related IT systems. The ideal candidate will ensure high availability, performance, and security of servers across the organization, while providing technical support for system issues and upgrades.

Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers
Monitor server performance, availability, and system health
Perform routine system updates, patches, and security fixes
Troubleshoot server hardware, operating system, and application issues
Manage Active Directory, user accounts, permissions, and group policies
Support backup and disaster recovery processes and ensure data integrity
Administer Windows Server and/or Linux server environments
Maintain system documentation, configuration records, and IT asset logs
Coordinate with network and security teams for infrastructure support
Ensure compliance with IT security standards and company policies
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
3–5 years of experience in server administration or IT infrastructure support
Strong knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux operating systems
Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy management
Understanding of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, or similar)
Knowledge of backup solutions and disaster recovery practices
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Must be currently residing in Bahrain
Immediate availability to join
Preferred Skills
IT certifications such as Microsoft (MCSA/MCSE), CompTIA Server+, or Linux certifications
Experience in enterprise IT environments or data center operations
Knowledge of cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS) is an advantage
Familiarity with cybersecurity and server hardening practices
Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
