Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management: Perform daily, weekly, or monthly physical stock checks to monitor inventory levels, ensuring supply matches demand to avoid shortages or overstocking.
Cost Control & Waste Reduction: Track usage, monitor ingredient costs, and implement proper stock rotation (FIFO—First In, First Out) to minimize waste and theft.
Record Keeping: Update inventory systems with, receiving, and usage data to maintain accurate, real-time records.
Supplier Coordination: Negotiate with suppliers for best pricing, evaluate quality, and ensure timely deliveries.
Reporting: Prepare inventory reports highlighting variances and food cost analysis for management
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience: Proven experience in restaurant inventory management, food and beverage, or warehousing.
Software Skills: Proficiency in inventory management systems and restaurant POS software.
Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze usage data, forecast needs, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Detail-Oriented: Exceptional organizational skills for tracking high volumes of stock items.
Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, move, and organize heavy stock items in cold storage and pantry areas.
