Job description:

We are looking for a Server Support Specialist to manage, maintain, and troubleshoot our server infrastructure. The candidate must be based in Bahrain and ready to join immediately.

Responsibilities:

Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot physical and virtual servers.
Install, configure, and upgrade server hardware and software.
Ensure server security, backups, and disaster recovery processes are in place.
Maintain system documentation, logs, and reports.
Collaborate with IT teams to resolve escalated server and network issues.
Support deployment of updates, patches, and infrastructure changes.
Requirements:

Must be based in Bahrain and available for immediate joining.
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
Previous experience in server administration or IT infrastructure support.
Knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and networking basics.
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:

Certifications such as Microsoft Certified, CompTIA Server+, VMware VCP, or ITIL Foundation.
Experience with backup solutions, disaster recovery, and server security management.
