Key Responsibilities

Supervise and lead a team of painters and helpers on-site
Plan, assign, and monitor daily painting activities
Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and finishing schedules
Ensure proper surface preparation, priming, and painting techniques
Inspect work to ensure high-quality finishing standards
Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other trades
Monitor material usage and request paints, tools, and supplies
Ensure proper mixing, color matching, and application of paints
Enforce safety procedures, including use of PPE and handling of chemicals
Train and guide workers to improve skills and productivity
Ensure work is completed on time and within project requirements

Requirements

High school diploma or relevant technical certification (preferred)
Proven experience as a Painting Foreman or Senior Painter
Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and tools
Ability to read drawings and finishing specifications
Leadership and team management skills
Good attention to detail and quality control
Strong communication and organizational skills
Knowledge of safety standards and chemical handling
Physically fit and able to work at heights if required
