Key Responsibilities

Prepare wooden surfaces by sanding, filling, and smoothing imperfections
Apply polish, varnish, lacquer, or stains to wood surfaces
Mix and match colors to achieve desired finishes
Use hand tools, spray equipment, and polishing machines
Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
Repair minor defects in wooden items before polishing
Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment
Follow safety procedures when handling chemicals and tools
Work closely with carpenters and production teams

Qualifications & Requirements

Proven experience as a wood polisher or in a similar finishing role (2–5+ years)
Knowledge of polishing materials, chemicals, and techniques
Ability to use polishing tools and spray equipment
Good eye for detail and color matching
Understanding of safety practices in handling finishing products
Physically fit and able to work in workshop environments
