Position overview
We’re looking for a talented Web Designer to create visually appealing, user-centered websites and web applications. You’ll work closely with product managers, UX designers, developers, and content teams to translate business goals and user needs into engaging digital experiences that are on-brand, accessible, and optimized for performance.

Key responsibilities
• Design and produce responsive web pages, landing pages, and UI components that work across devices and browsers.
• Translate business requirements and user research into wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes.
• Maintain and evolve site designs, visual systems, and component libraries (style guides, design tokens).
• Collaborate with UX researchers and product teams to iterate on designs based on user feedback and analytics.
• Work with front-end developers to ensure accurate implementation of visual and interaction designs; provide assets, specifications, and guidance.
• Ensure designs are accessible (WCAG 2.1 AA or higher), performant, and SEO-friendly.
• Create and optimize graphics, icons, images, and illustrations for web use.
• Keep up-to-date with web design trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
• Assist with A/B tests, conversion optimization, and landing page experiments.
• For senior roles: lead design projects, mentor junior designers, define design processes, and contribute to product strategy.
Required qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Visual Communication, HCI, or equivalent experience (or relevant portfolio).
• Proven experience designing responsive websites and web apps (portfolio required).
• Strong visual design skills: typography, color theory, layout, spacing.
• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles; familiarity with basic JavaScript is a plus.
• Experience creating design systems, reusable components, and documentation.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
