Subject: HIRING: Junior Quantity Surveyor (Joinery & Fit-out) – Major Project
We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Quantity Surveyor to support our commercial team on a large-scale, big-budget interior fit-out project. This is a perfect role for a junior professional looking to master the financial side of high-end joinery and bespoke interiors.

Key Responsibilities
Take-offs & Estimations: Assist in preparing detailed material take-offs from joinery shop drawings.

Subcontractor Management: Help manage specialized sub-contractor accounts and evaluate monthly progress claims.

Variation Tracking: Identify and document site variations (changes in design/materials) to ensure accurate billing.

Procurement Support: Assist in sourcing and cost-comparing specialized materials (timber, stone, ironmongery).

Cost Reporting: Support the Senior QS in preparing monthly cost value reconciliations (CVRs) and project financial reports.

Requirements
Background: Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering.

Experience: 1–3 years of experience, preferably within Interiors, Joinery, or Fit-out sectors.

Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in MS Excel; experience with measurement software (like Bluebeam or CostX) is a plus.

Attributes: High level of accuracy, a "hawk-eye" for detail, and the ability to work under tight project deadlines.
