Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant who is locally available in Bahrain and can join immediately. The ideal candidate will assist in managing daily accounting tasks, maintain accurate financial records, and support the finance team in ensuring compliance with company policies and Bahrain regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in preparing financial statements and reports
Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process
Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable
Perform bank reconciliations
Assist with VAT filing and compliance (Bahrain VAT knowledge required)
Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger
Support month-end and year-end closing processes
Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records
Assist with audits and other financial reviews
Coordinate with internal departments regarding financial matters
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
1–3 years of accounting experience preferred
Must be locally available in Bahrain
Immediate joiners only
Knowledge of Bahrain VAT regulations
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, ERP systems)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
Preferred Qualifications

Professional certification (ACCA, CPA – Part qualified) is an advantage
Experience in handling payroll is a plus
