Education and Certification Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field.
Job-Specific Technical Skills

Proficiency in inventory management software.
Proficiency in computer usage and modern inventory management technologies.
Strong organizational and managerial skills
Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to ensure the efficient management of inventory within the site store and warehouse, ensuring materials are received and distributed accurately and effectively to meet the needs of other departments.

Key Accountabilities Key Activities:

Inventory Management

Regularly update inventory records and ensure accurate tracking of all materials in and out of the warehouse.

Implement inventory control systems to minimise discrepancies and improve stock accuracy.

Supervision of Staff

Conduct performance evaluations of warehouse staff and provide feedback for improvement.

Assign daily tasks to warehouse staff, ensuring all activities are performed efficiently and safely.

Ensure all staff follow health and safety guidelines and maintain a clean working environment.

Reporting and Monitoring

Prepare and present monthly or weekly reports to management regarding stock levels, material usage, and inventory status.

Identify inventory trends and communicate potential supply chain issues or delays to management.

Maintain records of material movements, purchases, and deliveries for audit purposes.

Efficiency Improvement

Review current warehouse and store processes to identify inefficiencies or areas for improvement.

Implement lean inventory practices to optimise storage and reduce excess inventory.

Conduct periodic reviews of operational procedures and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
