job Title: Facility Management (FM) Engineer

Experience Required: 5–10 Years (Pure Facility Management Background)

Required Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Facility Management Engineer with a strong and comprehensive engineering background to manage end-to-end FM operations across high profile facilities in Bahrain. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in MEP systems, budgeting, CAPEX/OPEX planning, vendor management, and operational excellence, with a hands-on approach to facility operations and client engagement.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Manage daily facility management operations, ensuring uninterrupted performance of all building systems and services

- Lead hard and soft FM services, including MEP, HVAC, BMS, fire systems, housekeeping, security, and landscaping

- Plan, control, and preparing CAPEX and OPEX budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and financial discipline

- Preparing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs (PPM) for all assets

- Oversee tendering processes, vendor selection, contract administration, and SLA compliance

- Coordinate space optimization, fit-outs, refurbishments, and minor works aligned with organizational goals

- Drive energy conservation initiatives and optimize building automation systems to reduce utility costs

- Ensure HSE compliance, emergency preparedness, and business continuity planning

- Manage client relationships, handle escalations, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction

- Utilize CAFM/CMMS systems for asset management, reporting, and operational performance tracking

Required Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Facilities / Related Discipline)

5–10 years of solid Facility Management experience

: Strong knowledge of MEP systems, HVAC, BMS, fire & life safety systems

: Proven experience in vendor management, contract negotiations, and cost control

: Hands-on experience with energy management, sustainability initiatives, and asset optimization

: Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

: GCC experience and Bahrain exposure will be an added advantage
