A Factory Helper supports production operations by loading/unloading materials, operating machinery, packing goods, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace. Key duties include transporting raw materials using tools like dollies, inspecting products for quality, removing waste, and assisting operators to meet production targets.
Key Job Responsibilities
Production Support: Assisting machine operators by feeding, removing, or placing items on conveyor belts and machines.
Material Handling: Loading and unloading raw materials, finished products, and supplies from trucks or storage areas.
Equipment Operation: Operating or assisting with machinery,, including starting/stopping equipment and lubricating machinery.
Quality Control & Packing: Inspecting products for defects, weighing materials, and sorting, packing, or crating finished goods for shipment.
Maintenance & Sanitation: Cleaning production areas, sweeping, mopping, removing debris, and maintaining equipment to ensure a safe environment.
Administrative Support: Recording data, counting finished products, and reporting defective materials or machine malfunctions to supervisors.
Common Requirements
Physical stamina to lift heavy loads and stand for long periods.
Ability to follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
Good communication and teamwork skills.
