Description

• Instruct safe housekeeping flow (top-to-bottom, dry before wet, room-by-room)
• Teach hazard identification (wet floors, slips, electrical risks, chemical exposure)
• Demonstrate proper bed making (linen removal, hygiene frequency, mattress check, ergonomic
technique)
• Teach bedroom safety (loose items, furniture placement, electrical safety)
• Instruct safe use of cleaning tools (mops, cloths, vacuum attachments)
• Teach chemical safety (correct dilution, ventilation, no mixing, safe storage)
• Instruct full laundry process (sorting, cycles, detergent quantity, drying)
• Teach reading and applying garment care labels (wash, dry, iron symbols)
• Demonstrate ironing by fabric type and handling delicate items (abaya, thobe, silk, wool)
• Teach home organization and safe storage (chemicals away from food, heavy items stored low)
• Observe trainees during tasks and correct mistakes immediately
• Explain why methods are used, not only how
