Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant with 1–2 years of experience to join our finance team in Bahrain. The role involves handling day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting financial reporting in compliance with company policies and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain books of accounts and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions

Prepare and post journal entries, invoices, and vouchers

Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions

Perform bank and account reconciliations on a regular basis

Assist in monthly and year-end closing activities

Prepare financial reports and statements for internal review

Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and Bahrain regulatory requirements

Assist with VAT-related documentation and filings, where applicable

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce (B.Com / M.Com) OR
Semi-qualified CA / ICWA

1–2 years of relevant accounting experience

Sound knowledge of basic accounting principles

Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of VAT and local compliance in Bahrain is an advantage

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Experience working in a multi-cultural environment is a plus
