Finishing Supervisor – Construction

Job Summary

The Finishing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all finishing activities on the construction site, ensuring high-quality workmanship, adherence to drawings and specifications, timely completion, and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise all finishing works including plastering, tiling, painting, flooring, false ceilings, joinery, doors, windows, and fixtures

Ensure finishing works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and mock-ups

Coordinate daily activities of subcontractors, foremen, and laborers

Monitor work progress and ensure completion as per project schedule

Inspect finishing works for quality and rectify defects or punch-list items

Coordinate with MEP teams to ensure proper integration with finishes

Ensure proper material usage and minimize wastage

Conduct regular site inspections and maintain work quality records

Enforce site safety rules and ensure workers use PPE

Report daily progress, issues, and manpower status to management

Assist in snagging, de-snagging, and final handover activities

Requirements & Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or related field (preferred)

5+ years of experience in finishing works for residential/commercial projects

Strong knowledge of finishing materials, methods, and quality standards

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings

Experience managing subcontractors and labor teams
