Description

Job Responsibilities

Implement and monitor Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies on site
Conduct daily safety inspections, risk assessments, and toolbox talks
Ensure compliance with local safety regulations and company standards
Identify hazards and recommend corrective & preventive actions
Investigate accidents, near misses, and prepare incident reports
Maintain safety documentation, permits, and training records
Coordinate safety training for employees and contractors
Ensure proper use of PPE and safe work practices at all times
Liaise with management and site supervisors on safety matters

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
NEBOSH / IOSH or equivalent safety certification
Minimum 2–3 years experience as a Safety Officer (site experience preferred)
Good knowledge of HSE standards and procedures
Strong communication and reporting skills
Ability to work independently and handle site responsibilities
