Job Summary

The Interior Designer is responsible for designing, coordinating, and supervising interior works on construction projects, ensuring design intent, quality standards, budget, and timelines are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

Develop interior design concepts, layouts, and mood boards

Prepare detailed interior drawings, specifications, and BOQs

Select finishes, materials, FF&E, and prepare material submittals

Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, contractors, and suppliers

Review shop drawings and ensure design compliance during execution

Conduct site inspections to monitor interior works progress and quality

Respond to RFIs and resolve design-related issues

Assist in snagging, de-snagging, and final project handover

Ensure designs meet client requirements and project standards

Requirements & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design / Architecture

4–7 years of experience in interior design within construction or fit-out projects

Strong knowledge of interior materials, finishes, and detailing

Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Revit, or similar software

Ability to read and interpret construction and shop drawings

Skills & Competencies

Strong creativity and design sense

Excellent coordination and communication skills

Attention to detail and problem-solving ability

Time management and ability to meet deadlines

Working Conditions

Office-based with regular site visits
