Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Cobbler role located in Manama. The Cobbler will perform tasks such as repairing, polishing, and restoring footwear and other leather goods. Responsibilities include conducting inspections to assess damage or wear, replacing soles, re-stitching seams, replacing zippers, and cleaning leather products. The Cobbler will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining tools and equipment, and ensuring a well-organized workspace.

Qualifications

Demonstrated skill and experience in leather repair, footwear restoration, and craftsmanship for a wide variety of leather goods
Proficiency in utilizing tools and equipment such as stitching machines, knives, and hammers used for cobbling and leather care
Attention to detail in assessing product damage and handling intricate repair work
Communication and customer service skills to provide excellent service and offer appropriate recommendations
Basic organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple customer orders effectively
Ability to stand for extended periods and work with manual tools
Previous experience in cobbling, leather care, or related fields is a strong advantage
