Qualification:

Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Mechanical, or related field

Experience:

Minimum 2–3 years of procurement experience in a Plastic Manufacturing or related industrial environment.

Strong understanding of raw material sourcing (plastic resins, additives, packaging materials, and machinery parts).

💡 Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Executive to handle sourcing and purchasing activities for our plastic manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will ensure cost-effective procurement of high-quality materials, maintain supplier relationships, and support production efficiency.

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

✅ Source and evaluate suppliers for raw materials, machinery components, and packaging items.
✅ Negotiate prices, contracts, and delivery terms to achieve cost savings and ensure timely delivery.
✅ Prepare and process purchase orders (POs) as per company policies and production needs.
✅ Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the production and warehouse teams to prevent shortages or overstock.
✅ Develop and maintain supplier databases, ensuring quality and compliance standards are met.
✅ Track and analyze procurement metrics to identify cost reduction opportunities.
✅ Coordinate with finance for timely supplier payments and document verification.
✅ Maintain proper procurement records and ensure adherence to company purchasing procedures.
✅ Work closely with production, maintenance, and logistics teams for smooth material flow.

🧠 Skills & Competencies:

Excellent negotiation and communication skills

Strong analytical and decision-making ability

Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Tally)

Knowledge of plastic raw materials and production consumables

High attention to detail and sense of accountability

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
