We’re looking for reliable, guest-focused Boat Captains to operate our fleet of small leisure boats—including circular doughnut boats and elegant gondola-style vessels. These boats offer a relaxed, scenic experience for guests, often paired with dining or private events. Captains are responsible for safe navigation, guest interaction, and ensuring each boat is clean, well-maintained, and ready for service.

Key Responsibilities
Boat Operations
- Safely operate doughnut and gondola boats within designated cruising zones
- Conduct pre-trip safety checks and briefings for guests
- Monitor water conditions and adjust routes as needed for safety and comfort
- Assist with docking, boarding, and disembarking procedures
Cleanliness & Presentation
- Ensure boats are clean, tidy, and guest-ready before and after each trip
- Wipe down surfaces, remove trash, and reset seating or dining setups
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, especially for food-service boats
Maintenance & Reporting
- Perform basic checks on battery levels, steering, and safety gear
- Immediately report any mechanical issues, damage, or irregularities to the maintenance team
- Log daily boat usage, incidents, and maintenance needs accurately

Guest Experience
- Greet guests warmly and provide clear instructions on boat usage and safety
- Remain courteous, attentive, and professional throughout the trip
- Handle guest inquiries or concerns with calm and confidence
Safety & Compliance
- Adhere to all maritime safety regulations and company protocols
- Ensure life jackets and emergency equipment are available and accessible
- Stay informed on local boating laws and weather advisories

Qualifications
- Valid boat license or certification, specifically RYA and night training (as required by local/ Bahrain authorities)
- Prior experience operating small boats or watercraft preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and responsive in emergencies
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in various conditions
